Hello there…

Well it seems a little late for ‘welcome to the New Year, hope you had a good Christmas’, but there you have it, late as usual, so best of luck to us all for 2010!
I guess it feels this way at the start of every year, but it seems like it’s going to be a busy one again, no surprises there perhaps!

ASBK…

As I said we have a massive year planned so to kick it off I’m really excited to be part of the Australian Superbike Championship by supporting Jordan Zamora in the 125 category for 2010. So keep an eye out for him in the results! We have two rounds at QR this year, so hopefully we can drum up a squad to cheer him on out there. These young lads are very quick and I’m sure will be names you recognise in the near future (maybe on a Ducati?!!).

Local Racing…

And of course, at the same time the local club racing kicks off again with all the usual suspects so if you have a ride planned try and catch a round of the local racing scene. There are a couple of great routes to Warwick, and they make for a good distance without getting home too late. Speaking of racing congrats goes to Dave Bowden for winning the Southern Downs Challenge New Era Championship for 2009. Clearly years of riding Ducati’s have taught him a thing or two about how to get around a corner! Anyway, if you can make an effort to go and watch a race or two, as like many things, the support is greatly appreciated.

Moving on and I mean moving on, I have finally stepped out of the dark ages and got a functional web site – so check out www.eurotwins.com.au late - February. Of course it’s a bit thin for now but as this year rolls on we hope to fill it up a little more, so check back in from time to time. Some cool features will be the customer noticeboard to post bikes / gear for sale/wanted etc… We will have a blog for asking / chatting about general interest stuff - your own ride days, tyres, suspension, etc… (try to keep it clean!) I will do my very best to keep up to date, but don’t go away if I haven’t answered that day – I will get to it asap. There will also be a shop but like I said before it will take a little while to build up – ditto for the photo gallery. But hey there will be all the normal stuff to keep you entertained – rides, upcoming events, messages and so on. So wow – go Bev!!

In the Shop…

To go with website and also to boost our services a bit we will be stepping up our retail side throughout the year. We have some great gear like Pazzo levers in stock now, with Arrow exhausts, carbon parts and much more to come. So if you’re looking to trick out your ride, swing by and see how we can help!

Social Rides…

I know we have been out of the loop a bit for the last while so with that in mind it’s time to try and find the monster and get out for a ride or two.
Kicking it off is………
Sunday 28th Feb – BBQ Brekky 6.45am-7.30am and then off for a spin.
Sunday 28th March – McDonald’s Beaudesert then 8.00am ride (most likely Warwick to see racing)
Sunday 9th May – BBQ brekky at shop 7.00am and 7.45am ride.
Sunday 20th June – BBQ brekky at shop 7.30am and head off to look for some sunshine around 8.15am
So I hope you can make some (all) of these dates and drag a mate along as well. These dates are pretty solid but check on the web in case of updates.

MotoGP Fun…

Also this year we are doing a Moto Gp tipping comp – great prize for the winner, no so great prize for the donkey so ring /email Di to get registered – should be entertaining!
Talking shop, with all of this happening, time is going to be a bit hard to come by and Saturday’s will be a bit inconsistent for me as we will be closed for holiday’s and racing. So if you count on them for drop off’s, pickups etc, check it out some time prior to see if we’re open.

Well that’s a start – let’s all hope for a tops year in 2010 and maybe we’ll catch on the road somewhere!
